Join us for the Year of the Tiger!
Celebrations don't have to end on the 2nd January. The Chinese Liberal Democrats will be welcoming in the Year of the Tiger, at a Chinese New Year Banquet on Wednesday 10 Feb 2009, at 7.00 pm in China Town, London.
Chair of the Chinese Liberal Democrats, Merlene Emerson said:
"I invite you to join us for our ever popular Chinese New Year celebrations in China Town to help us welcome in the Year of the Tiger. The past year has been a positive one for the Chinese Liberal Democrats with numerous events and our involvement in a number of projects to increase Chinese community involvement in politics.
The Year of the Tiger poses new challenges for both us, and for the country with a General Election, local elections and more to come.
We are also pleased that our key note speaker for the evening will be the Liberal Democrat Leader, The Right Honourable Nick Clegg MP which we are sure will provide further food for thought.
What better way to celebrate and discuss the Tiger than with good food and good company?"
The venue will be Top of the Town Restaurant, 37 Gerrard Street, London W1D 5QB (nearest tube Leicester Square).
The dress code will be Lounge suit.
