She said that the Conference has given her a valuable opportunity to develop personally and she feels proud to be representing the CLDs, an organisation that upholds liberal values. Apart from manning the joint CLD and Ethnic Minority Liberal Democrat stall, she managed to take part in talks on the abolition of religious discrimination in schools and in campaigning for gender equality at a Women Liberal Democrat fringe event.

Isabella said:

"This experience has given me greater understanding of Liberal Democrat values and policies, bringing me as an individual closer than ever to the party".

Kevin added: "After Conference I will be researching on issues relating to gambling addiction and detention of unregulated workers and asylum seekers for Chinese Liberal Democrats. I am pleased to be able to make a difference".
