Notice is hereby given for the

Chinese Liberal Democrats Annual General Meeting

to be held on 28 November 2021 at 14.00 via Zoom.

We are pleased to have as guest speaker Amy Phung from BESEA.n, founded this year with the launch of September as the British East and SE Asian Heritage month.

Amy is a British-Chinese Londoner and co-founder of besea.n. She is a graphic designer and has also written for publications such gal-dem magazine and The Leopard News, as well as participating in panels for SOAS, UCL and King College London. As part of her anti-racism work, she has also run advocacy sessions for institutions such as China Exchange and coordinated besea.n's active bystander workshops.

  3. Chair's Report
  4. Treasurer's Report and Approval of Accounts
  5. Membership Officer's Report
  6. Election of members of Executive Committee* and Hon President
  7. AOB

* Nominations are welcome for the posts of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Development Officer and 7 Ordinary Executive Committee posts.

There will be an informal round table discussion on issues of interest to attendees following the formal part of the meeting.
