Throughout the year we have grown both as individuals and as an organisation together.
We have seen some, such as Linda Chung, our Vice Chair elected as a councillor in Camden whilst Allan Siao Ming Witherick was re-elected with an increased majority in Hertfordshire. We have also had others such as Philip Ling being selected as a parliamentary candidate and Claire Hoang joining the mentoring scheme.
As an organisation we have been proud to take part in everything from efforts to increase voter registration through to taking part in the EU Chinese Journal Shadow Parliament to help people make an informed choice.
Merlene Emerson, Chair of the Chinese Liberal Democrats said:
"This year has been a positive one for us, building both our past successes and the experiences of our predecessors.
Now the challenge is to truly make next year the year of the Asian Tiger."
