Chinese Liberal Democrats Chair Linda Chung has been selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Hampstead Town ward on Camden Council. A by-election for the ward, caused by the resignation of a Tory Councillors, will be held on Thursday 25th September.
Linda has a strong local record, and would welcome support to help her win one of the prettiest wards in London from the Conservatives.
- Linda has lived in Hampstead for over 30 years and knows the local issues that matter to residents.
- She founded NW3 Hampstead, the local organisation for traders and businesses.
Linda has a track record of pushing for better and fairer local parking arrangements - she opposed Labour's unnecessary clamping regime.
- She was part of the delegation which presented the petition to save Hampstead Police Station to Sir Ian Blair and the Metropolitan Police Authority.
- Linda has lead the team organising the successful Christmas Lights celebrations in Hampstead.
