Chinese Liberal Democrats were well represented at Spring Conference which was held in Birmingham this year. On Sunday 14, on the last day of the Conference, CLD representatives were out leafleting in Birmingham's vibrant Chinatown, calling on the local shoppers and residents to remember to register and to vote in the coming elections.

'Missing Voices' were the theme of their literature - if you do not vote, you lose the opportunity to be heard. This chimes well with the aim of the BC Project which was set up to encourage greater voter turn out at elections. Their team of volunteers were also there to support Parliamentary Candidate Philip Ling whose constituency Bromsgrove is just outside Birmingham.

The closing date for registration to vote in time for elections on 6 May is 20 April - for more information, see http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/
