Video: Vice Chair Merlene Emerson interview on Sutton TV

Vice-Chair and GLA London-wide List candidate Merlene Emerson was interviewed by David Blackmore of Sutton TV recently in place of Amna Ahmed, the LibDem constituency Candidate for Sutton and Croydon. She used the opportunity to explain the complex voting system with the 3 ballot papers. As a candidate her name will not be on the ballot paper but voters will have to vote for the party to get her elected.

Merlene also spoke of the great work the Liberal Democrat run Council was doing in Sutton and reminded David and his viewers that one of the 2 local MPs was also Liberal Democrat - Tom Brake MP.

"We clearly have values and policies that appeal to Londoners, on more affordable housing, to better transport, to more childcare support. We are also the only major party united on the question of the Referendum in June, fighting for UK to remain in the EU." said Merlene
