On the 13th May, the Campaign Against Racism Group (otherwise known as "CARG") held its 2023 Annual Conference, which I was lucky enough to attend online and found not only its content thought-provoking but forward-thinking and inspiring (especially as a mum of 2 beautiful autistic mixed-race children who love books).
Liberal Democrat President Simon Hughes MP came to support the Min Zhu Loong (Democracy Dragon) team at the 2008 Dragon Boat Festival, held on Sunday 8th June at the London Regatta Centre, Royal Albert Docks.

Chinese Liberal Democrats held their Annual General meeting and social event on 1 December 2008 at Shanghai Blues in High Holborn, WC1 where Linda Chung, Chair of Chinese Liberal Democrats (CLDs) reported to members and friends on another successful year of activities and campaigns. These included the CLDs taking part as Min Zhu Loong or Democracy Dragons in the London Dragon Boat Race in July, collaborative work with the UKCICC to 'save the livelihoods' of many in the catering industry as well as selection of CLD members into key seats in preparation for future elections.
