Chinese Liberal Democrats celebrated the Lunar New Year on the evening of 18 February 2016 with a fundraising banquet in preparation for the Mayoral and Greater London Assembly (GLA) Elections in May 2016.

She used the opportunity to explain the complex voting system with the 3 ballot papers. As a candidate her name will not be on the ballot paper but voters will have to vote for the party to get her elected.
